In April each year, two meetings are held at St. Peter's Church: the Annual Parish Meeting, when parishioners elect the 2 Churchwardens; and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting at which members on the Electoral Roll elect PCC members, and Deanery Synod representatives (once every 3 years).
Additionally, a series of Reports on life in the Parish Church are given at this meeting, and the business conducted by the PCC is presented before the electors. The Annual Report, (a legal document reporting on the plans, achievements and financial activities of the Church over the past 12 months), is presented at this meeting, and in due course a copy is sent to the Diocese, and to the Charity Commission, where it is available to view online.
The next APCM will be on Sunday 7th April 2019.
